Mission Street, White Town, Pondicherry
The Immaculate Conception Cathedral, built in 1791, is the oldest church in Pondicherry and one of the most beautiful colonial churches in South India. Its pink and white façade is stunning both inside and out. The interior features stained glass windows, a baroque altar, and intricate woodwork. The church is especially beautiful during Christmas and Easter when it is illuminated with thousands of lights.
